Jiwan is an associate with Paterson MacDougall LLP.  Jiwan is developing his practice in the areas of aviation law, municipal liability and wills & estates.

Prior to joining the firm in September 2019, Jiwan completed his articles of clerkship with an experienced sole general practitioner in Toronto with a focus in civil litigation and spent a summer at an international law firm in Seoul, Korea with a focus in international arbitration.

Jiwan obtained his Juris Doctor from Western University.  During law school, Jiwan acted on various committees, served as a student ambassador and spent a semester abroad at the University of Hong Kong.  Prior to attending law school, Jiwan obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from McGill University.

Jiwan is fluent in English and Korean and is continually improving his French.
